English burr oak coffee table

This table is offered with a 12mm oval OR circular clear glass top (measuring 79cm diameter)

The table supports are two solid sections of stunning English burr oak. Burr oak is usually cut for veneer as it produces a greater square footage of highly sought after decorative timber. One these sections the loose bark is painstakingly removed by hand to reveal the underlying burr structure. The cut surfaces are then cleaned and polished, while the natural surface is oiled but left in its natural state. The supporting blocks of burr oak measure approximately 33cm wide and 18cm thick.
